I just posted this entry on my Facebook page and thought it would be a good thing to post here too!
I have always been an entrepreneur, always trying business ideas no matter how big or small, and I’ve always known that owning my own business would be the only way I would really be happy about my job.
That’s why when Arbonne came along, I knew I had to jump on that train! The way that Jannah explained that she was able to take months off of work to be with her new baby, and STILL get paid a full wage, really made me realize that that’s what I wanted. Besides that, there was something about this business that I trusted and I felt clarity and a nudge towards it.
Something that Grandpa keeps reminding me about is that I’ll never be happy until I’m my own boss. And if you know me, you’ll know how true this really is! I’ve been working full time since I was 16 and I’ve had at least 15 jobs since then…some of them at the same time…(Let me just clarify that I’ve only been fired from one work place…the rest I left because I wasn’t happy for various reasons).
I want to be my own boss, I want to set my own work hours, I want to earn a wage that I’m worth!, I want to take holidays when I want, I want to sleep in, I don’t want to be blamed for someone else’s mistakes, I want to stay at home with my kids and still have a full time wage coming in. And you guessed it! Arbonne offers all of this and more!
What other job can you work at and say “My wage will never stop increasing!” or “Guess what, my boss is giving me a Mercedes!” or “I get paid for my co-workers work too!”, or even “I’m headed to Mexico for an all inclusive trip paid for by my company!”
Everyone seems to think that there are very few people who actually succeed at businesses like these…but guess what! I know and my upline personally knows MANY women, in BC, in Alberta, in small towns and big cities, that are driving their Mercedes, earning huge cheques per month and going on trips with Arbonne!
If you want it, it’s there! You just have to push forward and take it for yourself, and that’s what I’m doing. Care to join me?
If you’re curious about Arbonne and the business, listen to this link by Becky Young. It’ll only take 25 minutes aprox and it’s SO interesting! If you want to go further from there, let me know! I’d love to answer any questions you have!
I love summer, what’s not to love? Sunny days, hot sun, fun food, gardening. It’s all bright and colorful and amazing!
I bought my first bike today. Well, not technically my first, I did have one when I was a kid, but never this nice and not since I was ten. So I’m considering it my first real bike. And besides that, my bike when I was a kid was too big for me. It had that horizontal bar just below the seat and I had to jump onto the seat and get going fast because my feet couldn’t touch the ground. I used to get off of the bike by peddling to a patch of grass and flying off the side. So no, I don’t consider that my bike because it was painful and wasn’t exactly FOR me, it came from convenience.
If that makes sense…
So this bike is truly mine, truly cute and truly cheap. $75. And it looks like brand spankin’ new!
One of my friends just moved into town from Latvia and I’m excited to go bike riding with her! We’ve been wanting to do some sort of exercising, but nothing quite seemed to fit either of our schedules, so this will be an affordable and fun way to be outside and get our exercise!
Today at lunch, I’ll be bringing the new puppy (isn’t she cuuuuute?), Jersey, down town to do some grocery shopping for my Hollywood Makeup Party (Arbonne!) tonight. It’s going to be FUN! These parties are always a blast, I can’t wait!! And of course there’ll be wine…wine and makeup, you can’t go wrong really!
This summer is GLORIOUS! We have the best weather, especially for June! It’s just incredible. I’ve burnt like a crisp, I’m peeling like a snake, my garden is in, my flowers are flourishing, my new puppy is friggen adorable, my sleep is ruined.
Life. Is. Wonderful!
My blog, however…is suffering because of it. Sorry for my absence!
Since summer has arrived, I’ve been looking for a new workout system. Pilates or Yoga? Bike riding or karate? It’s a toss up. Oh and throw Water Aerobic in there and it’s all messed up even more. I think I’m leaning towards Pilates with a side of bike riding in the evenings.
How is your summer going so far? I’d love to hear from you! Leave a comment on an adventure you’ve had lately!
Ps: Lesson learned this summer: Use sun screen! Arbonnesun screen because it’s naturally based, no animal bi-products, no mineral oil and it targets the RIGHT UV rays…weirdly enough, some of them out there don’t even do that!
I have a love for books…a love I can’t explain. I try to explain it, and it all comes out muddled and gibbered up. So instead of trying to explain it, I just shut my mouth and go to a book shop to cater to my love.
And you know what they say: “When in Rome…visit your favorite book store”. But instead of Rome, it was Lewes England. When I visited Lewes last, I was 15. And I have been dying to visit again, not only to visit family but also to see my favorite sites. This book shop was on the very top of my list.
It was exactly how I remembered it! A small door to duck into, the smell of old books, piles of books on the floors and tables….it was heaven!
Until…the owner snapped at me for taking pictures inside the shop. Apparently there were signs all over, but I had no idea! I honestly didn’t see them. But just because they had been so weird taking pictures…I took another one. Ha!
