Round and Round

Well, the world just keeps going ’round and ’round! It’s amazing to me that I still have so many constant readers ever after neglecting them for a little while. Thanks guys, you’re awesome!

I used to be so worried about my readership, always trying to get a certain amount per day etc, but I just don’t have time for that now! And even though I’m not posting links here and there, I still have new readers coming in and older constant ones still stickin’ around! It’s awesome!

Well, today is FRIDAY! Thank goodness!! I need some rest, a few days to sleep in and just relax will be awesome.

Just looking through Etsy and found these great necklace charms from Anne Kiel Jewelry. I love the colors! You can use one of them, or several on a necklace…either way, it’s an adorable piece!!

These awesome earrings are made by Amalia Versaci out of vintage zippers! Her work was featured on the front page Treasuryon Etsy…lucky duck!!

Trace My Face

Well well! Look at that. I’m back two days in a row!

I’m tired and hungry but super happy! I had an Arbonne party last night that went really well. One girl signed up as a consultant and two girls bought $840.00 worth of products! There was a bit of confusion about the ordering buy we got it straightened out and it’s all good now.

My focus now is to book more parties. My goal is to book three parties a week in February. Hopefully that will get me to the next level in the company and I’ll be just that much closer to working full time with Arbonne and driving my Mercedes!

People keep asking if getting the Mercedes from Arbonne is actually a realistic goal. Um, yes!! I live in a smaller town (10-13,000 pop) but there’s three girls in my area already driving their Mercedes and working full time at the Arbonne business. It’s do able IF you’re willing to work to get there.

You always have to view it as doing work now for play later. It’s not hard work, it’s a matter of keeping those wheels turning. And it’s FUN! I get three nights a week with great girls, visiting, trying out cosmetics and eating great munchies! It just doesn’t get better than that!

I work full time too but weirdly enough, I haven’t viewed my Arbonne nights as being overwhelming or “work”…EVER! That says alot.

Christmas is always a great excuse to buy a new dress. I know I need to! This dress from ArmoursansAnguish, on Etsy of course, is perfect for the holiday season. It’s shimmery and has great detailing. It’s PERFECT!

New Style – In Store Soon!

 

I was working on a new bag this weekend! There’s another one just about finished, but I ran out of O rings so I wasn’t able to put the handles on.

I was so thrilled with how this bag turned out though! I think it’s my favorite style so far. There’s three grommets on the top of both sides of the bag, as well as a 7″ w. x 8″ h. (aprox) pocket on either side. AND, this bag had an flat oval bottom, something new for my bags.

New Pocket Palls!

 

Meet Franke and Cass. They’re best friends. They love making mud pies and spying on spying on Cass’s older sister, Darla. Cass loves eating Maltesers, but Franke hates them. So Cass sticks her tongue out at Franke when she’s eating them.

I’m so content right now. I’m drinking Tim Hortons Double Double and eating Tim Bits, I’m writing a few new ads for the radio station…and of course blogging (: AND last night I was able to sew up two new Pocket Pals, which I’ll be posting pictures of later this afternoon. They’re pretty dang cute!

Allllso! I’ve been working with a GREAT Etsy shop, Henry Rabbit. She’s been creating ads for my Etsy shop and this blog. I can’t wait to post them, they’re really great! Feature Friday – Little Sparrows Nest

                     

I’ve been trying to re-do our bedroom. My colors are pale green with one wall in a very light pink. I’m trying to come up with ways to decorate the wall above the bed and while I was looking through Etsy I found Little Sparrows Nest. Their pictures are really so beautiful, soft and elegant.

I’m imagining several of these pictures put into a large square…you would never loose interest in that collection of pictures…all different and breathtaking in it’s own ways.

                      

                      

Modish

Modish is one of those blogs that I strive after. I realize I’m not in their “league” (Ahem, YET) but it’s something I am working towards slowly but surely.

The other day I was browsing through the Etsy Forums and saw that Modish (Jena) has an Etsy profile! Very cool. She was linking to her blog (see, even the big blogs promote themselves in Etsy Forums!) because she had made this great entry on marketing. Not only are there tons of links, but there’s also a short discription on what the blog / company will look for when you present yourself to them. It’s really something to read through, if not act on just yet.

While I was at the Modish Blog, I clicked on an entry I saw about Trashy Diva. It’s a shop full of great clothes, shoes and accessories. Really, it’s vintage style, but they’re super cute and could fit any style. And the prices are pretty reasonable too! There’s a pair of boots that I really really want…but they’re a bit out of my price range (as good boots usually are!).

I love Modish. It’s actually one of the sites that I’m going to try to advertise on. Oh, I didn’t write about advertising here did I? Nope, that was in the other blog.
