Icecream and Treasuries

In Uncategorized on April 13, 2009 at 8:00 pm

I’m totally in like with this Treasury! Aka Cinders created it and was a lucky girl and got it featured on the front page of Etsy! Wowsa! My favorite item? Why, thanks for asking! It’s the yellow pencil skirt, hands down. By Ureshii. Take a look at their shop, it’s like an icecream  store. So many flavors, so many yummy colors.

I love this necklace! The shape and size are so unique, and the print is just gorgeous! Check out LuluBug Jewelry for more funky work!

Well, today we leave on a short little road trip, for a family funeral unfortunately. It should be interesting. We were never very close to this family member, but it’s sad all the same that his wife has lost her husband and his son has lost his dad.

I woke up this morning excited, not about the funeral, but about life. It feels like something is about to happen…not sure what…but it’s exciting! Maybe it’s just that I have a few Arbonne parties booking for the end of this month.

I also have some Spa Events this month that I’m super excited about. I got the idea from an Arbonne Facebook Group and I’m really looking forward to doing it! I’m going to give the guests a mud mask, complete with cucumber eye coverings, hand scrubs and massages, and a foot treatment. I’m so excited!

I love this store!! Not only the items, but the way that it’s set up. The pictures are so cool, and the idea of the products are great. And what a great Valentines gift! “I Heart Nerds” would be  a good one for me considering my hubby is a computer tech :b Dahl and Dane is da’ bomb!

And it’s on SALE! OOooo!

So last night was a busy one…actually yesterday as a whole was a busy one. Hubby was worried I wasn’t getting enough sleep so he told me to take the morning off of work and sleep in…not going to say no to that!! I didn’t get to work until 11:30 and it would have been perfect had I not woken up with a headache! Oh well.

Then at work I taught several students how to make lip gloss. It took up the whole afternoon, bringing me to 3:30 when I needed to leave work early for an Arbonne meeting in the next town.

A long drive to the Arbonne meeting, a GREAT meeting with Patrice Mattison. She’s so amazing! She’s an Arbonne trainer from the States who focuses on leveraging your time and communications with your clients / potential clients. It’s seriously incredible!

We drove up there with two of our Regional Presidents, IN A WHITE MERCEDES. I’m SO getting one of those!!!

If you’re interested in receiving some samples from me, let me know! Arbonne is an incredible company…if you’re trying to earn some extra money AND if you’re looking for high quality body care products!

Round and Round

Well, the world just keeps going ’round and ’round! It’s amazing to me that I still have so many constant readers ever after neglecting them for a little while. Thanks guys, you’re awesome!

I used to be so worried about my readership, always trying to get a certain amount per day etc, but I just don’t have time for that now! And even though I’m not posting links here and there, I still have new readers coming in and older constant ones still stickin’ around! It’s awesome!

Well, today is FRIDAY! Thank goodness!! I need some rest, a few days to sleep in and just relax will be awesome.

Just looking through Etsy and found these great necklace charms from Anne Kiel Jewelry. I love the colors! You can use one of them, or several on a necklace…either way, it’s an adorable piece!!

These awesome earrings are made by Amalia Versaci out of vintage zippers! Her work was featured on the front page Treasuryon Etsy…lucky duck!!

This store is unbelievable! You know when they say that photos are everything on Etsy? If that’s true (which I think it is!) this shop has it all. Each of their pictures are a work of art…I would frame them. Really. I would. I’m thinking a burnt orange color on a wall with several of these photos in a black frame. But that’s  not even what Gougo Loft is selling! It’s the clothes! And they’ve already captured you haven’t they?

Well, I’ve been working my little bum off sewing the past couple days. I’ve sold seven bags, three on the Internet and four to girls in town! SO EXCITING!! I’ve decided that all the money from these sales is going to go into Arbonne products, in order to build up my stock of testers. Arbonne has a great deal for new consultants called the RSVP. It stands for something…but I can’t remember what it is (: Anyhoo, if you spend $840 on products you’ll only have to pay $420. It’s an awesome way to build up stock and be able to try out products for yourself.

I also just placed a pretty big order for catalogs, order forms, and samples from Arbonne. I’m headed to Calgary at the end of the month to see my sister and take in an NHL game (my first LIVE game! I’m SOOOO EXCITED! I even know what I’m going to wear already!). While we’re there my sis is going to host an Arbonne party / girls night. Wine, pastries, and of course makeup! What more could a girl ask for?! It’s a great way for me to maybe sponsor new consultants in that area.

I’m also going to tell the girls that come to the party that if they want to book a party with me, I’ll drive down again in January and do a couple parties in one weekend. And if they decide to become a consultant, this is a good way for me to help them out, train them a bit and answer their questions. Not that I’m a pro or anything yet! Arbonne is so great though, it has amazing resources so sponsoring new consultants long distance isn’t difficult!

Anywayssss! I’m rambling on! Hope everyone is having a great week so far!

I was going to work on another Poster Sketch this evening, but I couldn’t remember if I had posted this one before! I just love the colors and items in this Sketch! I’m working on a new one and of course will be trying to get it into a Treasury, so keep checking back!

New Style – In Store Soon!

In etsy on October 14, 2008 at 3:00 pm

I was working on a new bag this weekend! There’s another one just about finished, but I ran out of O rings so I wasn’t able to put the handles on.

I was so thrilled with how this bag turned out though! I think it’s my favorite style so far. There’s three grommets on the top of both sides of the bag, as well as a 7″ w. x 8″ h. (aprox) pocket on either side. AND, this bag had an flat oval bottom, something new for my bags.

Like I said, I’ve been working with Henry Rabbit to developed ads for the Kj Blog and my Etsy shop. I really am so pleased with how they turned out!!

The top one is for the blog, and the bottom one is for the shop (: I’ll be advertising on other blogs soon to prepare for the Christmas season and of COURSE I’ll be using these great ads!
